1. Identify the exact test on your prescription
Start with the full test name or an abbreviation such as CBC, TSH or HbA1c. ApnaPatho test guides explain names and preparation. If the name is unclear, upload the prescription for help identifying its tests.
Do not choose tests solely from descriptions of symptoms. Ask your doctor which test is needed. Similar names may refer to different tests, so match your selection to the prescription.
2. Check who the booking is for
When booking for a parent or family member, select the correct patient. Carefully check their name and other details. Have the home address and contact information ready.
If two family members need tests, keep their bookings and test lists distinct. Using your account does not mean every report should be issued in your name.
3. Check lab prices and collection options
After adding tests to the cart, compare available labs. Alongside price, check the estimated report time, accreditation details and home collection option.
Home sample collection costs ₹99 for orders below ₹1,500 and is free for orders of ₹1,500 or more. Check the total at checkout before confirming. Home collection is not necessarily available for every test and address.
4. Select a slot and confirm preparation
If home collection is available, enter your address and choose an available time. If only a lab visit is offered, plan accordingly. Speak to support first if the timing is a problem.
Ask the lab or doctor whether fasting is needed, for how long, and what to do about medicines. Do not stop medicines yourself. For urine or stool samples, first confirm the container and delivery procedure.
5. Access the report in your account
The partner laboratory tests the sample. Report timing depends on the selected lab and tests. Once uploaded, access the report in your ApnaPatho account.
Discuss the report and further treatment with your doctor. For booking, sample collection or report access help, contact ApnaPatho support on +91 77228 85101.
