Delete your account and data
You can permanently delete your ApnaPatho account and associated personal data through the app, on our website, or by sending us a deletion request.
Before you delete your account
Complete or cancel any active booking first. Deletion is permanent, cannot be undone, and you will lose access to your reports and prescriptions. Save any files you need before continuing.

How to delete your ApnaPatho account
In the mobile app
Use the deletion control in your profile.
- 1Open the ApnaPatho app and sign in to your account.
- 2Select Profile from the bottom navigation.
- 3Scroll to Delete account and data, then select Delete my account.
- 4Review the warning and select Delete permanently to confirm.
On the website
This works even if you no longer have the app.
- 1Sign in to ApnaPatho on the website using your registered mobile number.
- 2Open Account settings.
- 3Under Delete account and personal data, type DELETE in the confirmation field.
- 4Select Permanently delete my account.
Cannot sign in?
Request deletion from support
Email our Privacy and Grievance Officer from an address you can access. Include the name and registered mobile number (with country code) on your ApnaPatho account and state that you want the account and associated personal data permanently deleted.
We may verify that you control the registered mobile number before completing the request. Never send us your password, OTP, full payment details, or an unnecessary medical report. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

What happens next
Data deleted and data retained
Deleted or irreversibly anonymised
- Your name, registered mobile number, login credentials and saved addresses
- Reports, prescriptions and their stored files
- Family profiles that are not required for an existing transaction record
- Doctor-access consents, package requests, referral code and referral balance
- Personal comments and precise address or location details attached to past bookings
May be retained for legitimate purposes
- Minimised or anonymised booking, payment, invoice, refund and settlement records required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention or disputes
- Limited audit, consent and security records required to demonstrate compliance or investigate unauthorised access
- Protected backup copies until they are replaced through the normal backup cycle
Retained records are kept only for the applicable statutory, security, fraud-prevention or dispute period and are minimised where possible. For more detail, read our retention and erasure policy.
